Childs Park

  • The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located in Meredith Center. Playing field, basketball court, tot lot playground, and ice skating rink. Public restrooms available.

Circle Drive Park

  • The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on Circle Drive across from the Meredith Community Center. This small 1 acre partially wooded park provides a peaceful setting for picnics.

Community Park

  • The Meredith Buildings and Grounds Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on Main Street this intimate park is the home of many community wide special events, such as craft fairs, concerts, dances, and holiday events. The park is a great place to have lunch, take a break, or enjoy a special event. Public restroom is available.

Hamlin Recreation and Conservation Area

  • The Meredith Conservation Commission is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on Chemung Road, Meredith Center. This park is a 310 acre natural area, 6 miles of maintained trails for hiking, although biking is not prohibited we do not maintain the trails for biking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. In addition to beautiful views, it features rare plant and tree species. 

Hesky Park

  • The Meredith Buildings and Grounds Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located by Meredith Bay, Daniel Webster Highway, Route 3. Site of many concerts and special events; waterfront park, public docks, and boat launch. Offers views of Lake Winnipesaukee.  Boat launching is subject to a $20 fee without a Meredith Facility Use Sticker which is available at the Town Hall and Solid Waste Facility -- stickers cost $20, allow use of the transfer station and boat ramps and are available to either Meredith residents or property owners.

Leavitt Beach

  • The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on Lake Winnipesaukee - Leavitt Park Rd. off Route 25. Beach, picnic area, barbeque grills, playground area, and public canoe/kayak launch. Public restroom and showers available as soon as weather allows.

Meredith Community Forest

  • The Meredith Conservation Commission is in charge of maintenance.

Prescott Park

  • The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on Daniel Webster Highway, Route 3 N. Lower Prescott Park; Tot lot playground, volleyball court, basketball court, baseball diamond, softball fields, batting cage, ice-skating rink and skate park. Upper Prescott Park; tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamond, walking loop .43miles/lap. Public restrooms are available. Parking for upper park located at ILES and ILHS. Park can be accessed by the North and South trails.

Scenic Park/ Clough Park

  • The Meredith Buildings and Grounds Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on Meredith Bay on Route 25 and Pleasant Street. Waterfront parks provide walkways, picnic areas, and breathtaking views.

Shep Brown's Public Boat Launch  

  • Located at the end of Lovejoy Sands Road, is a town-maintained boat launch. Boat launching is subject to a $20 fee without a Meredith Facility Use Sticker which is available at the Town Hall and Solid Waste Facility. Stickers cost $20, and allow use of the transfer station and boat ramps and are available to either Meredith residents or property owners.

Swasey Park

  • The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on High Street off Main Street. Peaceful 7 - acre wooded park, waterfront on the Waukewan Canal, picnic area, and great place to explore nature.

Waukewan Highlands Community Park

  • The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located off Parade Road, Route 106. 190 acre managed forest, 3 miles of trails maintained for hiking, jogging, mountain biking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and horseback riding. Also includes an interpretive trail. Hart’s Pond is the centerpiece of the area and once served as Meredith’s reservoir. Camping and motorized vehicles prohibited. Park closes at dusk.

Waukewan Beach

  • The Meredith Parks and Recreation Department is in charge of maintenance.
  • Located on Lake Waukewan - Waukewan St. Open: Free Public boat launch within walking distance. Public restroom and showers available as soon as weather allow.

Beach Rules:

  • Dogs prohibited.
  • Alcoholic beverages prohibited.
  • Flotation devices of any kind are prohibited.
  • Recreation equipment in water (balls, etc) prohibited.
  • Horseplay will not be tolerated.
  • Glass containers prohibited.
  • Open fires/coals on beach prohibited.
  • A responsible person must supervise children at all times.
  • Smoking allowed in designated areas only.
  • Be responsible & have fun!
