State of New Hampshire Adopts 2015 Building Codes

The Town of Meredith enforces the “State Building Code” established in RSA 155-A (NH Building Code), as amended. On July 17, 2019, HB 562 was signed into law which amends NH RSA 155-A as follows:

Updates the definition of the   “State Building Code” to include the 2015 editions of the International Building Code, the International Existing Building Code, the International Plumbing Code, the International Mechanical Code, the International Energy Code, and the International Residential Code; and

Adds the International Swimming Pool and Spa code to the definition of “State Building Code”; and

Ratifies certain amendments to the “State Building Code” adopted by the State Building Code Review Board.
